The webinar will discuss a successful ruling of the Belgian Council of State against the use of videoconferences in asylum procedures.
This webinar-series critically highlights interesting case law, legal developments in Europe in Asylum and Migration Law. We invite Lawyers to present interesting cases in order to share experiences and connect. We want to discuss the legal arguments but also the political context.
The aim of these webinars is to share practical experiences and to start a European, and global, communication amongst Lawyers concernig Migration and Asylum.
We are convinced we should organise strong positions amongst Lawyers to resist Fortress Europe and for the right of the freedom of movement.

Ein Kollege aus Belgien wird über sein erfolgreiches Verfahren gegen den Einsatz von Anhörungen per Videokonferenz in seinem Verfahren berichten. Die ungewöhnliche Uhrzeit erklärt sich mit den Gepflogenheiten der eurpäischen Kolleg:innen. Das Ganze ist ein Testlauf und wird organisiert von der EDA. Weitere Veranstaltungen, dann mit mehr zeitlichem Vorlauf, sind geplant.
Die EDA ist ein europäischer Dachverband anwaltlicher Organisationen, in dem der RAV Mitglied ist.
